Overview

Overview

In most operations, sales reps are not paid their commission until the invoices for their deals are funded/paid. This alert is meant to keep the sales rep notified/engaged regarding past due invoices for their sales. It selects only invoices for sales orders using the eAuto Order Type(s) you specify in VariableY, are past due more than the # of days (VariableW), and when past due amount exceeds VariableX.

Variable W: Enter number of days past due to report on

Variable X: Enter Minimum Past Due Amount (whole number only, no decimals please)

Variable Y: Enter Sales Order Type(s) to consider (separate multiple with comma or leave blank for ALL)

Variable Z: Enter Branch Numbers to trigger on, separated by comma, or leave blank for all.

-Alert considers Sales Rep assignment based on Sales Rep listed on Invoice

-Alert configured to send emails depending on whether you have to Sales Rep and/or to Sales Rep's Manager selected on your subscription: 

  • If to Sales Rep and to Sale Rep Mgr is checked, both Rep and Rep Manager will receive same email (labeled To Rep / Rep Mgr at footer) with a new email sent for each rep both to the rep and their mgr
  • If to Sales Rep is NOT checked and to Sale Rep Mgr is, then the manager will receive one email (labeled To Rep / Rep Mgr at footer) which will include all of their reps

Email(s) listed in To/CC/BCC (or Branch Role) will receive summary email (labeled Summary at footer) showing ALL qualifying past due invoices. 

Email(s) listed in BCC receives ALL reports (All Reps Summary, To Rep, To Rep Manager).

-Be sure your Sales Rep eAuto Employee Records are set up correctly, so alert can send to Sales Rep and/or show Sales Rep assigned 

USE alert ID245 to be notified of Sales Rep Email and/or Manager Assignment Missing needed set up

ALL sales reps must have an email in their employee record AND be assigned to a manager

Sales Rep Employee Record:

1. Must have email address:

Then Sales Rep Manager Employee Record must have:

1. Email address:
