CEO Juice database

To provide better security as requested by some clients., we are moving the majority of our tables out of the DGI tables and into our own database.

Happy to do this via a goto meeting otherwise some instructions below;

Don’t  create the db open.. use the “Restore from Files” and they will need to follow these directions completely..

Copy the @CeoJuiceDatabase folder to the Juicebox at the client.  The clients sysadmin will need to perform the following steps:

1) Copy the ceojuice_empty_SQL2008.bak (or is appropriate) file to his production servers default

backup location:

For SQL 2008 that would be:

                                \\[ServerName]\[DriveWhereSQlInstalled]\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Backup

For SQL 2005 that would be:

                                \\[servername]\[driveletter]\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Backup

2) Have clients SysAdmin create a new database 'CEOJuice' from the above backup file by using the rt click menu

on the SQL server\Database folder\Restore Files and Filegroups.

He/She should be able to select

                                To Database:CEOJuice

From Device: [browse to the backup file location from the above steps and select the appropriate file]

3) Client must grant the the role 'db_owner' for this new Database to the sql users CEOJuice & coexecute (that's the eautomate

                sql user).

4) Client must run the following scripts on their production sql EAutomate database:

ZCJ_DB_Executor_Role(Run Against EAutomate Product DB).sql (this creates a new SQL role to execute procedures and

assigns the Execute permission to that role and then assigns CEOJuice sql user to that role.

ZCJ_Synonym_EAutoDatabase.sql (to allow our custom reports to work from within the euatomate client)
