We have a number of our alerts that are 'AutoDeploy', meaning you subscribe and our system pushes them out automatically, and anytime we release a new revision you get an update automatically. A large majority of our alerts are built this way, however some alerts will always require a 'manual' install. While sometimes a manual install can be as short as 15 minutes, it can also be longer from 1 to 2 hours depending on the alert.
If we have 200 clients running an alert that has a 1 hour install, then that’s 5 weeks work for one person, and if we then make a tweak to that alert 2 months later then another 5 weeks. Our average client has about 50 alerts so if half are manual you would quickly find that we would spend the entire fee we charge you paying people to just update alerts.
We will always immediately update you to the latest version if there is a problem with the alert or if you ask us to update.
