An aging base of machines in field means higher costs of service. This process is to work on upgrading models as they approach their service discontinued dates by sending an email to the customer explaining that parts can no longer be guaranteed by the manufacturer. This would trigger before the Service Discontinued date on the Model in eAutomate with the option to have the customer sign to acknowledge receipt.
This notice can trigger off of Contracted Only equipment or include billable equipment as well.
This alert would trigger off of Service Discontinued Date in eAuto:
We can also alert your sales reps (ID593) of service call placed on machines with excessive # of service calls in the past year, excessively low or high volume in clicks, excessive age of Eqp, parts or service discontinued, lease approaching completion, contract approaching completion or that the machine has been targeted for upgrade.
