CoPilot for Power BI - Chat with your data

Copilot for Power BI is now available in Fabric and works with an F2 capacity or higher. This means you can use it with CEOJuice Power BI templates without needing Premium P1 or larger capacities.

How to enable it

  1. Your Power BI workspace must be on a Fabric capacity (F2 or higher) or Premium (P1 or higher).
  2. An admin must go to the Microsoft Fabric admin portal and turn on Copilot for the tenant.

    Navigate to app.powerbi.com

    Go to “Admin Portal”

  1. Move the workspace with your CEOJuice reports to that capacity.

How to purchase

Fabric capacity is purchased through Microsoft or your Microsoft CSP (reseller) in the admin portal. For Copilot, the smallest capacity that works is F2.

Cost of licenses

F2 capacity is billed monthly at Microsoft’s Fabric pricing. Copilot is included with the capacity and is billed based on Capacity Unit usage (how much text you send to and receive from the AI). There is no separate Copilot subscription fee.

Do users need a different license?

No. If your workspace is on an eligible capacity, any user with access to that workspace or report can use Copilot. They do not need a special Copilot license. Standard Power BI Pro licensing is still required to view shared content.

We are actively preparing our CEOJuice Power BI templates for this new tool so Copilot’s answers will be as accurate and helpful as possible. As we roll out new template revisions, Copilot will have more context and the quality of its responses will improve.

For CEOJuice users this means you can answer client questions live during a QBR, instantly find lost accounts and reasons, or create quick summaries of AR and inventory without building new visuals. It speeds up analysis, helps non-technical users get answers, and allows analysts to spend more time on insights instead of hunting fields and writing formulas.

Example Copilot prompt and response using the latest revision of ID774 below. Results will improve further once the report is fully prepared for AI in the next update.
