ID232 - Barcode Scanning Power App (in Development)

We have many clients asking us to work on a scanning solution, we are publishing the below outline to see what the current mood is.

Digital Barcode was a long-standing, well-adopted tool that many clients still miss since its retirement. While ScanIT now provides important functionality, there remains a desire for a broader solution that supports additional workflows. Looking ahead to ECI’s cloud-only direction, CEO Juice has been asked to build a Power Apps-based inventory scanning app that eventually extends beyond physical counts to include transfers, receiving, picking, and real-time error handling. Cloud only means that future versions of ScanIT will only work for dealers who have eAutomate hosted on ECI's cloud.

If there is sufficient client interest, CEO Juice will move forward with developing this enhanced solution to complement existing ECI offerings and help dealers streamline their inventory operations. If there is continued adoption we can expand past the basic version which is Physical Inventories (w/realtime error catch)
