We see most clients moving away from On Premise servers to a cloud. The smaller dealers are moving to ECI's Cloud, larger dealers are moving to Microsoft's Azure offering.
Typically, the choice will be determined by cost. ECI has made their cloud solution much less expensive than the OnPrem version so we hardley ever see a new ECI install for a small/medium dealer that is not on ECI's cloud.
Most of our clients are now on Office365 so Azure makes more sense today than an AWS server. Also, we see bigger dealers start to sign up for Microsoft Fabric.
Ironically, the emergence of tools like OpenClaw may move us back to OnPrem or more "edge" computing as we contemplate a future of AI Agents, bits/bytes in and pixels out, the end of the Saas era.
