ID181 - "Uber" Style GPS Tracking Info on Notify Customer of Call Status

As copier companies are getting into managed IT and becoming technology partners, your customers expect to see you using technology. If you use www.datablaze.com for GPS tracking for your techs, they offer an "Uber Style" site where you can watch the technicians progress as they approach your location.

We are able to include a link on our dispatched email of ID181 to show tech is on the way. It can include a link saying "Click here to track our technician in real time", or different if you prefer. The link is only live while the tech is dispatched.

Email cameron@datablaze.com at Datablaze to get started, then let us know (at help@ceojuice.com) once Datablaze is writing their link to service calls so we can add to our alert logic.

Link not in the emails to customers?

Is the link not in emails to customers?

If your having issues with the CEO Juice emails not sending tracking information, after you've already worked with Datablaze to use this feature, then check that the link is correctly being written to your call status.

Did the tech mark the call as dispatched? If not, then no link will be created.

When a Tech En-route link is created, it also generates a note under the service call in the service call notes. The Note Type is either ZCJ_DBZ181 or CEO Juice ID 181 / Datablaze Live URL and should have the URL in the note itself. If there is no note to be found, then likely the call was dispatched too soon after it was reassigned, so the tracking note didn't have time to be created in the call.
