Service Call Text Messaging Set Up in eAuto

You will need to enable text messaging in eAuto for techs to receive notification each time a new service call is placed for them.

Go to: Tools\Options\Service Calls\Dispatch Console\Text Messaging to enable. You can choose on what stauses the techs are notified and what info to include on the message.

 

 

Then on the employee record you setup the text messaging device. Select their cell phone carrier in the device type drop down and input the cell number in the identification field.
