Overview

Overview

When entering data in e-automate, most screens do not display the accounting period in which the transaction is being posted. If the GL modules for a prior period have been reopened, intentionally or otherwise, users may not be immediately aware. Conversely, users may not know that the current period has been closed and that they can no longer post transactions in a month. This alert will notify when the General Ledger modules have been closed to keep everyone aware.

Run Schedule:  Daily at 2 PM

From here, you can see the current open periods and also change the period specifically for the user's workstation. The alert will not notify if a specific user has made a change to the Sessions overrides, only when the period for the entire company has been changed.
