Overview
Overview
In e-automate, the bill code on a service call determines whether the service is covered under a contract or billable to the customer. When a contract is assigned to the service call, the bill code is pulled from the contract. If there is no contract on the service call, the bill code is pulled from the equipment record. If the service call has no contract, and the equipment record does not have a bill code assigned, the bill code on the service call will be blank. To prevent billing errors, this alert will trigger for service calls in the Pending, Scheduled, or Dispatched status that lack a bill code so that the call can be updated prior to invoicing.
Run Schedule: Every 15 minutes

Alert Functionality
Alert Functionality
1. The alert checks for service calls that do not have a bill code set here:
2. The alert only checks for calls that have a status of either Pending, Scheduled, or Dispatched. The alert will trigger once for the call in each status. For example, the alert would trigger for a service call without a bill code when the call is in the pending status once; if the call still lacks a bill code when the status is updated to Dispatched, the alert will trigger one more time for the call.
