Variable W: Lookback Days - The number of days to look back to check if the part on the current call has been used on a previous call. The default value is 10.

Variable X: Average Cost - The value that the item's average cost must exceed to trigger the alert.

Alert Functionality

Alert Functionality

1. The alert checks new service calls that have been invoiced to see if the same technician has used the same part on a previous service call. The time frame the alert uses to look back is dependent on the value set in Variable W. If Variable W is set to 10, the alert checks to see if the part used on the service call that was just invoiced has been used by the technician on any other call in the past ten days.

2. The average cost of the item must be over the value set in Variable X.

3. The technician must have the custom property set in Variable Y set to Yes on their employee record.
