Overview
This alert notifies your company whenever a change was made to the installed location address on an equipment record yesterday. This can be particularly helpful to be in-the-know of to ensure that when an equipment record address changes that you also validate that the new address also reflects on the contract level. Additionally, it can be used as a notice to reflect the changes to your 3rd party lenders, so the customer's invoicing is updated on their side for equipment location.

1. Alert reviews changes made the prior day to equipment records in the install location address of equipment records.
2. The output of the alert will send you a PDF file that looks like the sample from the sample section above. It will indicate what change has been made and what the new value was versus what the original value is. If there is only a new value and no original, it means it was blank previously.

Best Practices & Tips
1. We recommend having this alert send to someone in your admin department that will check the changes made on the equipment record against the address on the contract record. This is needed because if your team is not selecting for the system to update any contracts that the equipment is tied to at the time of saving the address change on the equipment record, the address on the contract will reflect the prior value. See below for where and how this occurs in the system.
When you update the address and click OK on the lower right-hand corner of the equipment record this message will pop up. Click OK.
This box will appear showing which contract(s) this equipment record is currently active on. Checkmark which contracts you want the address change to reflect on.
If you do not do this properly, the contract address will not update. To view the address on the contract, go to the service contract that the equipment is on and select the equipment/items tab.
2. We recommend having this alert send to someone in your admin department that can review the equipment to see if it is on a lease and if so, reach out to the leasing company to notify them of the address change.
