Alert Functionality
Alert Functionality
1. Select the on-hold codes that you would like to trigger the alert on in variable X. In order to trigger the alert, the service call or sales order must be on-hold. If you would like to trigger the alert on everything that is on hold, leave variable X blank.
The on-hold codes can be found in Tools - Lists and Codes - On Hold Codes:
2. For service calls, the number in variable W is the number of hours the call has been on hold before the alert will trigger.
**The alert does take into account the business hours for the customer on the service call when calculating the number of hours the call has been on hold.
3. For sales orders, the number in variable W is the number of days the order has been on hold before the alert will trigger.
**The time a sales order was placed on hold can be viewed in the Sales Order Notes.
