This alert will advise you when an Item of Category X OR Item Service Code Y shows up on an Order of Type W.

Overview

Overview

This alert will trigger for sales orders of a specified type when an item on the order meets one of these conditions:

- The item category matches a category set in Variable X

- The item service code matches a service code set in Variable Y.

- The item is marked as returnable, and Variable Z is set to 'Returnable'

The alert will only trigger on sales orders that have not been fulfilled.

 

Run Schedule:  Hourly on Weekdays

Variable W: Order Type(s) - Enter the order types for the alert to trigger on, separating multiple types with commas.

Variable X: Item Categories - Enter the item categories for the alert to trigger on, separating multiple categories with commas.

Variable Y: Service Code(s) - Enter the service codes for the alert to trigger on, separating multiple codes with commas.

Variable Z: Returnable - Enter 'Returnable' to have the alert trigger on items that are marked as returnable in e-automate.

1. For an order to trigger the alert, the order must not be fulfilled, and the order type must be one of the types specified in Variable W.

Order types can be found in e-automate under Tools - Lists and codes - Sales Order Types:

2. Once the alert has identified the orders with the specified order type, it will trigger if the items on the order meet one of these conditions:

  A. The item category matches an item category set in Variable X.

B. The item service code matches a service code set in Variable Y

C. The item is marked as returnable, and Variable Z is set to 'Returnable'

3. The alert will only report each item once. A new item added to an existing sales order that meets the criteria would cause the alert to trigger for that item.
