Variables
Variables
All variables are optional, except for Variables 5, 6, 7..
Variables W, X, Y, Z, 2, 3,4 are used to tell our reporting HOW you identify your HP Item Records. These variables are like filters and function as an AND filter. So a given Item Record would need to have all codes you list in each variable.
Variable W: Item Categories to Include (separate multiples with comma)
Variable X: Inventory Codes to Include (separate multiple with commas)
Variable Y: Sales Codes to Include (separate multiples with commas)
Variable Z: Service Codes to Include (separate multiples with commas)
Variable 1: Yes or No, Include OEM Compatible Items?
Variable 2: Yes or No, Include only items with HPAmplifyReporting custom property set to Yes?
Variable 3: Makes on Item Records to Include (separate multiples with comma)
Variable 4: Models on Item Records to Include (separate multiples with comma)
Variable 5: HP assigned Partner Reporter ID
All of these variables (except for Variable5, your Reporter ID) are found on Item Record:
Variable 6: Include/Exclude Managed/Transactional SKUs (as defined by HP)
0 = Report both Managed and Transactional SKUs
1 = Report Managed SKUs only
2 = Report Transactional SKUs only
HP gave us a list of items that are considered Managed SKUs. We put those items in a table. If you have Var6 set to 1 then we only report on items in that table. If you set Var6 to 2 then we only report items not in that table based on their other variable settings. If set to 0 then we report on everything based on their other variable settings.
Variable 7: Item Number or OEM Number (this number will populate in ColumnB and ColumnE on report)
Which field to pull Partner Reported ProductID field and Reseller's Product Number from.
0 = Pull from item number field in Eautomate
1 = Pull from OEM Number field in Eautomate

Checklist
Click this link to review the requirements and begin the initial setup
1. This entire report is based from required HP Template attached below.
2. Reports on HP items you've identified via your variable settings and is a snapshot of your eAuto Inventory at the time report runs. It can not be run for past period time filters.
3. Will only shows items if there is quantity in stock or was received on a PO in that week. Will show items that were in stock but aren't any longer, IF the item was received in inventory and then sold during that week.
4. Our HP Amplify alerts email you .xls file format. HP requires .csv file, so you will need to save as .csv for submission to HP. Format is V2_Type_AMPLIFY_ReporterID_DateFROM_DateTO:
5. While files need to be sent to cdm.na.data.submission@hp.com, if you have a data reporting questions or an inquiry, please email: cdm.na.inquiry@hp.com
6. Emailed report shows your variables selections, so be sure these are correct and make any needed changes to your variables on ID73 subscription:
Be sure to say YES to this warning:
AND save as CSV (comma delimited) (*.csv):
7. Formatting issues from HP? Some clients are getting file submissions rejections from HP. HP WILL NOT accept comma's or carriage returns in the .csv file (most eAuto users have both on their Customer Records). So you will need to "clean up" your excel file first using Find and Replace function in excel.
Step 1: Enter , (comma) in Find What and set Replace With as blank:
Step 2: Enter Ctrl-J (carriage returns which puts a blinking . (period) in the Find What cell, set Replace With as blank:
Step 3: Now save file as CSV UTF-8 (comma delimited) and send off to HP:

OnDemand Report Filters
OnDemand Report Filters
1 - Be sure your filters match your ID73 variables (filters) EXACTLY. This report is a snap shot of inventory at the time it runs, so there is NO period filter option. Unfortunately, eAuto does not store historical inventory data. If you need to run this report for period in past, please contact help@ceojuice.com.
All filters optional. Filters are used to tell SSRS Report HOW you identify your HP MIF/Equipment Records. These filters are an AND filter, so a given Equipment/Contract Record would need to have all codes you list in each filter.
2 - Enter multiple entries in each field with comma(s).
3 - Users will need eAuto permissions to run Inventory Reports.
4 - When running via SSRS, you need to export to Excel and save as excel. Then open it again and save it as .csv before submitting it to HP. This ensures the column headers stay as needed. Be sure to save the file with this naming convention required by HP: V2_Type_AMPLIFY_ReporterID_DateFROM_DateTO
Step 1:

The above filter settings correspond to these fields on an Item Record:
Item Number or OEM Number refers to which field to pull Partner Reported ProductID field and Reseller's Product Number from:
Include / Exclude Managed SKUs gives options on whether to include or exclude Managed and/or Transcations SKUs based on a table of SKU numbers, provided to us by HP, that are considered by HP to be "Managed" item numbers as opposed to "Transactional" item numbers:
