Overview

Overview

This process will mark your eAuto Model Records inactive based on activity recorded against each record. 

When first installed, it will run in test mode for you to review, and make any adjustments as needed. Once approved, you would tell us to turn it live.

 

Run Schedule:  Once per month, on last day of the month

Type of Output: Email

Variable W: # of months to look back for transactional activity

Variable X: Note Type name, that records why the model was inactivated

Alert Functionality

Alert Functionality

Data points used to determine if a record should be made inactive:

  • Model created within var W months
  • Active equipment with the same model exists, excluded from inactivation
  • Accessories with the same model on active equipment exists, excluded from inactivation
  • The item/model is in stock, excluded from inactivation
  • Sales order fulfilled within varW months
  • Purchase order or A/P invoiced within varW months
  • Purchase order Receipt within varW months
  • Any inventory transaction (movement or costs) within  varW months
  • Item/Model is on on an active sales order or purchase order, excluded from inactivation

 

The “Last Transaction” columns provides information on the last transaction that would have kept the model from being deactivated.  In many cases, it is the model create date since no other transactions occurred for that model record. It includes the transaction number and the item number that corresponds with the model.
