Overview

Overview

The integration between Autotask and e-automate will sync contracts, service tickets, and sales orders from Autotask to e-automate. These three types of records are best managed within the PSA instead of e-automate, the transactions are pushed to e-automate once complete so that full profitability reports can be run from e-automate. The master for customer records will be in e-automate, the customer sync will push updates from e-automate to Autotask. You'll also have the option to create new accounts in Autotask when new customers are created in e-automate.

As of January 2025, two integrations are available:

ID913 - Contract Sync

The contract sync triggers off of new contract invoices created in Autotask and syncs the invoice data to contracts in e-automate. The contract in Autotask will be the master for the contract information, when the contract is invoiced, the updates will be pushed to e-automate. See the link above for the full details of how the contract sync works.

ID915 - Sales Order Sync

The sales order sync takes sales order data from Autotask and in conjunction with ID634 creates sales orders in e-automate. See the link above for the full details of how the sales order sync works.

The remaining two integrations are:

ID962 - Customer Sync

There is currently a beta version of the customer sync that is available for testing. E-automate will be the master for the customer record, updates and inserts will be pushed to Autotask depending on the sync settings.

ID914 - Service TIcket Sync

The service ticket sync is still being developed. We will update this section once a beta version of the process is available.

Set Up

Setup

The first step in the setup process is subscribing to the alerts that you will be using:

ID913 - Contract Sync

ID914 - Service Ticket Sync

ID915 - Sales Order Sync

ID962 - Customer Sync

Once you have subscribed to the alerts, the next three steps may require involving your IT department:

1. Create an API user in Autotask and add the API keys to our website. Details on how to do this are here.

2. Designate a test e-automate database to use for the testing process. This can be an existing test database, but you would want to be sure that the database will not be updated during the test process.

3. Create a test CEO Juice database, details on how to do that are here.
