Overview

Overview

This alert checks for new service calls that are opened for equipment with a status specified in Variable W. In order to set the status on the equipment record, you must be using Equipment History Tracking in e-automate. The alert is intended to monitor for calls where the equipment is newly installed or on demo so that any service issues can be promptly addressed. The alert will be sent to those set in the To and CC fields of the subscriptions. You can also set the alert to send to the technician or the technician manager, the sales rep, or the sales rep manager.

Variable W: Equipment Status Code(s) - Enter the equipment status codes for the alert to trigger on, separating multiple codes with commas.

Variable X: Branch Numbers - Enter the branch numbers for the alert to trigger on, separating multiple branches with commas. Leave blank to trigger on all branches.

1. The alert checks for new service calls created for equipment in a specified status.

The list of equipment statuses can be found in Tools - Lists and Codes - Equipment Statuses:

In order to set the status on the equipment record, you do need to have Equipment History Tracking turned on.

2. The call type category on the service call must be Corrective Maintenance (CM).

3. The alert will trigger once on each service call. If the equipment has a second service call more than 100 days from the first, it will trigger the alert again.
