Overview

ID725 is an alert that provides a complete list of All Calls and Orders that were either Placed OR Released from On Hold. The alert also includes the total amount of "OnHold Time" for each call and order when the alert triggers. You determine how many days to look back (Set in Variable W), and what on hold codes to trigger on (Variable X). 

 

Run Schedule:  Daily at 5 PM

Variable W: Days to Report Back - Enter the number of days back you want the alert to look at, 0 for the current day, or 7 to report the last week's worth of activity.

Variable X: On Hold Codes to Trigger On - List the on-hold codes for the alert to trigger on, separating multiple codes with commas.

Alert Functionality

1. The alert will report on the on-hold codes specified in Variable X. The list of on-hold codes can be found in e-automate in Tools - Lists and Codes - On Hold Codes:

2. When a sales order or service call is either placed on one of the specified on-hold codes, or released from one of the specified on-hold codes, the alert will report on that order or call.

Best Practices & Tips

Removing a customer from being on hold does not update any orders or calls that are currently on hold, those will need to be manually released.
