Alert Functionality
Alert Functionality
1. Executive Summary
This alert acts as the data bridge between Lexmark Cloud Fleet and your local system. It securely holds your API credentials and continuously pulls printer fleet data down into background tables, which then feed directly into various active CEO Juice processes.
Prerequisite: To utilize any of the downstream integrations listed below, your organization must be actively subscribed to the corresponding CEO Juice process ID.
2. Integration Status
The following statuses indicate the current availability of our Lexmark integrations:
🟢 Active: Integration is fully released and available for all clients.
🟡 Beta: Integration is currently undergoing testing and is not yet globally available.
3. Core Integrated Processes
ID968 — Meters | 🟡 BETA
This process populates your local meter tables. All meters pulled from Lexmark Cloud Fleet are automatically inserted with the source tag ID968.
ID634 — Sales Orders | 🟡 BETA
This process monitors low toner alerts from Lexmark and automatically generates sales orders in e-automate.
⚙️ How Sales Orders are Created
Alert Source: This process pulls alerts generated directly by the DCA (Data Collector Agent). If you notice incorrect supply alerts, verify your alert configurations directly within the DCA (Lexmark).
Duplicate Prevention: By default, the system will not create a new Sales Order if there is already an open Sales Order for the same Equipment and toner color, or if one was fulfilled in the last 10 days.
Just-In-Time (JIT) Assumption: The system assumes the customer will replace the toner shortly after arrival.
-
Data Mapping:
Customer & Equipment: Linked automatically via the serial number on the DCA alert.
Branch: Pulled from the branch assigned to the equipment record.
Sales Rep: Pulled directly from the customer record.
For complete details, see our Supply Order Creation Documentation.
